ROSACEA

OVERVIEW

Rosacea is a common skin condition with no clear cause. It can lead to the following symptoms:

  • Swollen, red bumps (resembling acne).

  • Facial redness. 

  • Visible blood vessels.

  • Dry, irritated eyes and swollen eyelids.

  • A thickened enlarged nose (Rhinophyma)

  • Sensitive skin that reacts to creams and makeup

  • Facial swelling

Those with rosacea can often experience flare-ups that can be triggered by: alcoholic beverages, sunlight, spicy food, blood pressure medications, exercise, cold weather and some cosmetic products.
